Triple Glazed Studios is a small independent product studio. We build our own apps, and we also work with clients to help them design and ship thoughtful software.
Our time is split roughly 60/40 between our own products and client work. On the product side, that includes apps like Mercury Weather, Orbit, and Voxa (still in development). On the client side, we work with teams we like on products we find interesting. That mix is a big part of what makes the studio fun: some days you’re helping improve and ship one of our own products, and some days you’re jumping into client work or helping keep things moving across the studio.
We’re also always exploring new ideas, prototypes, and future products, so this role is not just about supporting what already exists. There’s room here to learn quickly, take on new responsibilities, and grow into different parts of product and engineering work over time.
We’re looking for a Junior Product Engineer who is curious, motivated, and excited to join a growing studio early. The focus of the role is on the product engineering side, but because we’re a small team, this is also a broad and flexible role. We’re looking for someone who’s happy to jump in wherever needed, help keep things moving, and grow by working across different parts of the development process.
This is a good fit for someone early in their career who wants to do more than one narrow thing, someone who enjoys learning, cares about product quality, and likes the idea of helping with all kinds of dev-related work in a startup-style environment.
You’d work closely with the two founders in a small team where there’s a lot of ownership, a lot of trust, and not much unnecessary process.
What the role looks like
- Help build, test, improve, and ship features across iOS, macOS, and other platforms we support
- Support product development in whatever ways are most useful, whether that’s QA, bug fixing, implementation help, release prep, support, cleanup, or testing
- Help identify bugs, edge cases, regressions, and polish issues before things ship
- Reproduce issues clearly and document them in a useful way for the team
- Help triage and respond to customer support messages with care, clarity, and good judgment
- Keep an eye on recurring support themes and help surface patterns, pain points, and product opportunities
- Take on larger tasks and product improvements as your skills grow
- Join our studio early and help shape what we build
- Work across both our own products and client projects
- Help us keep the quality bar high across product details, bugs, communication, and user experience
What we’re looking for
- Some relevant experience in software development, QA, product support, testing, or a related area
- Some familiarity with Swift, SwiftUI, or app development generally
- Strong curiosity and a real interest in learning how products get built and shipped
- Motivation to grow quickly and take on a wide range of dev-related work
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to notice things that feel off
- Interest in product design, UX details, and how small improvements add up
- Good judgment and the ability to stay organized across different kinds of work
- Comfort working in a small team where the role can be broad, hands-on, and evolve over time
- Interest in software, products, and how things work behind the scenes
- Genuine excitement about using AI tools and agentic coding workflows as part of modern product development, and interest in figuring out how they can help you learn faster, build faster, and do better work
How we work
We care a lot about doing good work, but we’re not especially interested in being overly formal about it. We like thoughtful products, clean execution, good collaboration, and people who enjoy figuring things out together.
We also actively use AI tooling as part of our workflow. That includes using AI for research, prototyping, implementation help, writing, and speeding up iteration. We think these tools are genuinely useful, and we’re excited by people who want to use them in smart, practical ways as part of building products.
Why someone might like this role
- You’ll work directly with the founders
- You’ll get a mix of client work and product work
- You’ll get exposure to many different parts of the product and development process
- You’ll help shape product quality and the experience people actually have using our apps
- You’ll have the chance to contribute to new ideas and upcoming products
- You’ll be part of a small team where quality, curiosity, and care in the details matter
- You’ll have room to grow into more technical and product-focused work over time
Compensation
$70,000–$90,000 USD base salary, depending on experience and fit.
Perks
- Access to modern AI tools as part of your everyday workflow

- Plenty of role flexibility if there’s a new area you want to explore
